欢迎新西兰交换生到我校，促进我校国际化交流和合作{hé zuò}
2019年1月8日我校迎来了{lai l}两位远道而来的姐妹{sisters}学校的交换生，一位叫holly barclay,来自新西兰黒斯廷斯市女子高中，另一位叫niamh edwards来自新西兰黒斯廷斯市北哈弗洛克高中。她们将在我校度过为期四周的交换生生活，体验不同的校园生活和中国{zhōng guó}文化，特别是中国{zhōng guó}最重要{important}的传统节日-----春节{Chinese New Year}。
在此期间，除了正常的随班上课之外，她们还将游览桂林的著名景点，如象鼻山、芦笛岩、漓江等，另外，还会去阳朔欣赏甲天下的风景。
我校校长王荣林代表学校对两位交换生的到来表示热烈的欢迎，亲手将学校校服赠予这两位新同学。希望{hope}两位来自新西兰的同学在我校学习生活中了解中国优秀的传统文化，与中国学生相互交流，增进友谊。
希望{hope}通过此次交换生活动，不仅{bù jǐn}能增进我校与黒斯廷斯市姐妹学校的友谊，促进我校国际化交流和合作，而且{but}能推动双方友好合作关系不断迈上新台阶。
we met two exchange students who come fromour sister schools on january 8th, 2019. one is holly barclay from hastingsgirls’ high school new zealand. the other isniamh edwards from havelock north high school
during their stay, they will go to schoolas the chinese students do on weekdays. they will also visit many famous scenicspots, such as elephant trunk hill, reedflutecave,the li river and so on. of course, they will be taken to yangshuo to enjoy thebeautiful scenery.
through this activity, not only can weexpand exchanges and promote bilateral friendship with hastings, but also we can enhance our internationalcooperation. we hope that it can push bilateral friendly cooperative relationsto a higher level.
